The object of Digital Wipeout is to score as many points as possible by "wiping out" numbers on the board. There may be up to eight players. If you play alone, try to set a new record by wiping out the the entire board. Each turn starts by rolling the three dice. You need to then try to wipe out a number on the board by mathematically combining the three dice using one or more of the four basic operations (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication). For instance, if a 3, 2, and 6 are rolled, the following numbers may be wiped out:
6 ÷ 3 + 2 = 4
3 - 2 + 6 = 7
(6 + 2) x 3 = 24
3 x 2 x 6 = 36
6 ÷ (3 -2) = 6
(6 + 3) x 2 = 18
6 - 2 - 3 = 1
(6 - 2) x 3 = 12
6 x 2 - 3 = 9
3 + 2 + 6 = 11
To wipe out a number, click it once on the board. A number may only be wiped out once per game. A player gets one point for wiping out a number plus an additional point for each adjacent number that has already been wiped out (either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally). It is possible for a player to get up to nine points on a single play.
For the most part, you will want to wipe out a number that will score the most points. However, if you want the game to last longer, or if you are trying to wipe out the entire board, you should wipe out the larger numbers whenever possible.
If a player cannot make a move, because all of the available answers are already wiped out, the player must click on the "Pass" button. No points are awarded to a player who passes. The game will end if no one can wipe out a number six times in a row. To end a game early, select "Abort" from the "Game" menu.

Digital Wipeout is not a free program. If you use it, please pay the $10 shareware fee to get the registration code. A site license may be purchased for $200 and covers all locations for your organization within 100 miles of your site. One big advantage of a site license is that you do not need to keep track of how many people at your site are using the software. A world-wide license costs $500 and covers all locations for your organization on the planet earth.
Paying for Digital Wipeout is very simple. Open the Register program that accompanies Digital Wipeout. Enter your name, e-mail address, and number of single user licenses you wish to buy (or site or world-wide licenses). Save or print the data from the Register program and send the data and payment to Kagi at the address below:

Kagi handles my payment processing. If you choose to pay with a credit card or First Virtual, you may e-mail or fax the data to Kagi. Their e-mail address is sales@kagi.com, and their fax number is +1 510 652-6589. You can either copy the data from the Register program and paste it into the body of an e-mail message or save the data to a file and attach it to an e-mail message. There is no need to compress the data file; it's already pretty small.
Payments sent via e-mail are processed within three to four days. You will receive an e-mail acknowledgement when it is processed. Payments sent via fax take up to ten days. If you are paying with cash or USD check, you should print the data from the Register program and send it to Kagi at the address above. You can pay with a wide variety of cash from different countries, but if you pay with a check, it must be drawn in US dollars.
If you have a purchasing department, you can enter all the data into the Register program and then select "Invoice" as your payment method. Print three copies of the form and send it to your accounts payable people. You might want to highlight the line that mentions that they must include a copy of the form with their payment. Kagi cannot invoice your company; you need to act on my behalf and generate the invoice and handle all the paperwork on your end.
Please do not fax or e-mail payment forms that indicate cash, check, or invoice as the payment method. As far as I know, there is still no technology to transfer physical objects via fax or e-mail, and without the payment, the form cannot be processed. Payments sent via postal mail take time to reach Kagi and then up to ten days for processing. If you include a correct e-mail address, you will hear from Kagi when the form is processed.
After your form is processed, Kagi will notify me that you have registered, and I will e-mail you the registered version of the program. If you do not have an e-mail address, please enter your complete postal address and include an extra $5 to be sent a floppy disk with the registered version.
